My experience of politics in The Right, then, ends here. I have no reason to lament. The things in life come and end the political commitment and follows the same logic of many other events in which we all find ourselves caught daily. I have nothing to reproach myself: I did what I could and maybe something more. Recently I received the most vicious and unfair criticism by those who, within the party, I was encouraged to address the challenging adventure of my candidacy for President of the Province of Ferrara. One applicant who had not sought and I accepted only a sense of responsibility, knowing that would be a challenge with little chance of success. You see he had to go so ... "Nemo propheta at home," reads an old maxim ... Patience. On the other hand, the only thing that interests me is being at peace with my conscience. The opinions of others I do not descend. I unfortunately had to acknowledge that my right hand today in Italy does not exist and are therefore politically orphaned again as I was two years ago. Mine is the Right of Guareschi, Guglielmo Giannini, Joseph Prezzolini, Leo Longanesi, Augusto Del Walnut, Indro Montanelli, Marcello Veneziani ...
